Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Simply connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI output port of your source device (e.g., gaming console, Blu-ray player, streaming box) and the other end to an HDMI input port on your display device (e.g., TV, monitor, projector). Ensure both devices are powered on and the correct input is selected on your display.
Compatibility: This cable is backward compatible with older HDMI standards (HDMI 2.0, 1.4, etc.). However, to benefit from features like 8K resolution, 4K@120Hz, 48Gbps bandwidth, eARC, and VRR, both your source device and display device must explicitly support these HDMI 2.1 features.
Care: To maintain optimal performance and longevity:
- Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable.
- Keep connectors clean and free from dust; use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning if necessary.
- Ensure the cable is not subjected to excessive pulling or strain.
- Store the cable away from extreme temperatures and moisture when not in use.
