Full details
The Unique Party Mini Metallic Gold Number 5 Birthday Candle is an excellent choice for event planners and parents looking to add a refined, celebratory touch to milestone birthdays or anniversaries. Its primary benefit is the eye-catching, high-shine gold finish that elevates standard desserts, though users should be mindful that because it is a single-digit candle, it requires additional candles if the age or milestone exceeds a single digit or requires multiple numbers.

FAQs
Can this candle be reused?
While technically a single-use item, it can be saved as a memento; however, it is not recommended to relight it after the wick has been consumed.
What is the total height of the candle?
The candle measures 4.72 inches in height.
Is the gold finish safe for food?
The candle is intended for decorative use on top of food; the pick is designed for contact, but it is standard practice to remove candles before cutting the cake.
Can I use this for a 50th birthday?
Yes, this is an excellent choice for a 50th birthday when paired with a matching number 0 candle.
Will the wax drip on the cake?
Like any wax candle, some dripping can occur if exposed to drafts. We recommend keeping the area free of fans or heavy air movement while the candle is lit.
Troubleshooting
Candle keeps falling over in the cake
Ensure the cake is level and firm. If the cake is too soft, create a small guide hole with a toothpick before inserting the candle pick.
Metallic finish appears dull
Gently wipe the candle with a dry, soft microfiber cloth to remove dust or fingerprints.
Pros and Cons
Pros

- Secure pick base prevents leaning
- Versatile for various dessert types
- Ideal height for standard cake presentation
Cons
- Limited to the digit 5
- Single-use product
- Metallic coating may be fragile if handled roughly
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To prepare the candle for use, simply remove it from its packaging, being careful not to scratch the metallic finish. Insert the pick vertically into the center of your dessert.
Compatibility: This candle is compatible with most standard cakes, cupcakes, and soft pastries. Avoid inserting it into extremely frozen cakes, as the pressure may damage the plastic pick.
Care: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the metallic finish from fading or melting before the event. Once the candles are lit, monitor them closely to ensure the wax does not drip directly onto food you intend to serve.
