Is the mat suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, the silicone material is durable and water-resistant, making it suitable for outdoor feeding areas. Ensure it is cleaned and dried properly after use.
Can I put this mat in the dishwasher?
While silicone is generally dishwasher safe, hand washing with mild soap and water is recommended to maintain the mat's integrity and appearance over time. Check the product packaging for specific dishwasher recommendations if available.
How does the allergen-free claim apply?
The mat is made from food-grade silicone that is free from common allergens, making it a safe option for pets with skin sensitivities or dietary restrictions related to materials.

Troubleshooting
Mat is sliding on the floor
Ensure the floor beneath the mat is clean and dry. The silicone material provides grip, but a wet or dirty surface can reduce its effectiveness.
Persistent odor on the mat
Wash the mat thoroughly with mild soap and water. For stubborn odors, you can create a paste of baking soda and water, apply it to the mat, let it sit for 15-30 minutes, then rinse and dry.
Food or water stains are difficult to remove
Wipe up spills immediately after they occur. For dried-on stains, try using a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for silicone or a baking soda paste, then rinse thoroughly.
