Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before starting your repair, ensure the surface is thoroughly cleaned, degreased, and free of rust or loose paint. To prepare, mix 100 parts of the filler paste with exactly 2 parts of the hardener; using too much hardener can lead to excessive heat generation and cracking.
Storage & Handling Guidelines:
- Keep the product in a cool, dry place.
- During summer months, ensure the tin stays cool; in winter, keep the paste warm to ensure proper consistency.
- Never return unused, mixed paste to the primary tin, as this will contaminate and harden the entire supply.
- Once the repair area is filled, allow it to cure for at least 20 minutes before beginning the sanding process.
