Ensure the elastic corners are fully tucked under the mattress. If the protector is too loose, verify that it is the correct size for your mattress.

While water-repellent, the protector may not be fully waterproof. For significant spills, clean up immediately and consider using an additional waterproof layer or a more robust product if frequent heavy saturation is expected.

Ensure the protector is completely dry after washing before placing it back on the mattress. Airing it out in sunlight can also help refresh the fabric.

Use a mild detergent and avoid fabric softeners, which can sometimes affect the texture of bamboo fabrics. Ensure the washing machine's spin cycle is not too aggressive.
