FAQs

How do I connect the soundbar to my TV?

Use the HDMI ARC cable provided or an optical cable. Connect one end to the soundbar and the other to your TV's corresponding output.

Can I use the soundbar with any TV?

The soundbar is compatible with most TVs. It's best suited for TVs between 32" and 43".

How do I connect via Bluetooth?

Enable Bluetooth on your device and select the Sharp soundbar from the list of available devices. You may need to press the Bluetooth input button on the remote.

How do I change the sound settings?

Use the remote control to select from the preset equalizer settings (e.g., Movie, Music, News).

What is HDMI ARC?

HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) allows you to send audio from your TV to the soundbar using a single HDMI cable, simplifying the setup and control.

Where can I find the model number?

The model number, HT-SB110, is typically found on the back or bottom of the soundbar and on the product packaging.

What should I do if the soundbar isn't turning on?

Check the power cable and outlet. If those are fine, try a different power outlet or contact customer support.

Troubleshooting

No sound from the soundbar.

Check the power connection, ensure the soundbar is turned on, and verify the correct input source is selected on both the soundbar and your TV. Also, check that the volume is not muted on either device.

Bluetooth connection fails.

Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the soundbar is in pairing mode. Ensure the soundbar is within range and there are no other devices interfering with the signal.

Sound quality is poor.

Adjust the equalizer settings using the remote to suit the content you are playing. Ensure the soundbar is not obstructed and the room acoustics are conducive to good sound.

Remote control not working.

Check the batteries in the remote and ensure there is nothing blocking the signal between the remote and the soundbar. If the batteries are fresh, try re-pairing the remote if the soundbar has that capability.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Simple setup with HDMI ARC.
  • Improves TV audio significantly.
  • Bluetooth connectivity for wireless music streaming.
  • Includes a remote control.
  • Multiple input options for versatility.

Cons

  • Not ideal for larger rooms due to the 2.0 channel setup.
  • May not have the same bass impact as soundbars with a separate subwoofer.
  • Limited to 2.0 channel audio.
  • Best suited for TVs within a specific size range (32"-43")

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup

  1. Connect the soundbar to your TV using the HDMI ARC cable (included) or an optical cable.
  2. Plug the soundbar into a power outlet.
  3. Turn on your TV and the soundbar; the soundbar should automatically select the input from your TV.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts if any.

Compatibility

The Sharp HT-SB110 is compatible with most TVs, but it is best suited for 32" to 43" TVs. Ensure your TV has an HDMI ARC port or an optical audio output.

Care

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the soundbar. Avoid using liquid cleaners.
  • Do not block the vents on the soundbar. This can cause overheating.
