Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before starting, clean the rubber surface thoroughly using a degreaser or detergent to remove road film and previous dressings. Once the surface is dry, stir the paint well to ensure an even distribution of pigments. Apply using a small, firm brush, working in thin, even strokes. If the rubber is heavily weathered, a second coat can be applied after the first has dried completely. Always mask off adjacent plastic trim or body panels with painter's tape to prevent accidental contact. Store the container in a cool, dry place and ensure the lid is sealed tightly after each use to prevent the paint from drying out.
