The Snowdon Timber Hardboard is a versatile, high-density panel solution ideal for DIY enthusiasts, woodworkers, and professionals tackling interior projects such as wall panelling, furniture backing, and decorative crafts. It offers a consistently smooth surface and reliable structural strength for light-duty applications; however, it is not suitable for high-moisture or exterior environments as the material is not naturally water-resistant.

No, this hardboard is designed for dry interior use only and should not be exposed to water or high humidity.
This hardboard is not recommended for flooring as it lacks the necessary density and structural integrity for foot traffic.
Standard hand saws, jigsaws, or circular saws with a fine-tooth blade will work perfectly.
It is highly recommended to apply a primer first, as the porous surface can absorb paint unevenly.
This product comes in a pack containing four individual 3mm boards.
Use a fine-tooth blade and ensure the board is firmly clamped to prevent vibration.
Lightly sand the surface with fine-grit sandpaper (220-grit) and wipe away all dust with a tack cloth.
Ensure the supporting frame is level and that you have used enough fasteners to secure the board firmly across its entire surface.
To ensure the longevity of your Snowdon Timber Hardboard, store the sheets flat in a cool, dry area away from direct humidity to prevent the board from soaking up ambient moisture. When installing, use appropriate fasteners such as wood screws or adhesive tailored for engineered wood products. If you plan to paint the board, we recommend using a high-quality primer to seal the surface before applying topcoats, as the material can be absorbent. Always wear protective eyewear and a dust mask when cutting to avoid inhaling sawdust generated by the high-density fibers.
