Setup, Compatibility & Care
Compatibility Check: Before fitting, it is essential to visually compare the new wheel bolt with the original one removed from your trailer or caravan hub. Verify that the thread size (M14 x 1.5), thread length (24mm), total length (45mm), socket size (17mm), and seat style (spherical) are identical. If you are unsure about compatibility, consult a qualified mechanic or trailer specialist.
Installation: Ensure the hub and wheel stud threads are clean and free from damage. Hand-tighten the bolts first to avoid cross-threading, then use the appropriate 17mm socket to tighten them securely. Follow the manufacturer's torque specifications for your specific trailer or caravan to prevent over or under-tightening.
Care: These wheel bolts are made from high-grade materials for durability. To maintain their condition, periodically check them for any signs of wear, corrosion, or damage, especially after exposure to harsh conditions. Clean them with a dry cloth if they become dirty. Regular inspection of wheel nut torque is also recommended.
