Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Installation typically involves mounting brackets to the wall at the desired height, then securing the curtain rod within these brackets. Ensure the brackets are securely fastened into wall studs or appropriate wall anchors for maximum stability, especially at extended lengths. The rod's length can be adjusted by loosening and tightening the internal mechanism, usually via a set screw.
Compatibility: This rod is compatible with most standard curtain types, including grommet, rod pocket, and back tab curtains. It is particularly recommended for use with heavier fabrics like blackout curtains due to its robust metal construction. Ensure the width of your window or door frame falls within the 160 cm to 300 cm adjustable range.
Care: To maintain the matte black finish, regularly dust the rod with a soft, dry cloth. For tougher marks, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, which can damage the finish.
