The Tom Ford Traceless Soft Matte Foundation is designed for individuals seeking a high-performance, long-wearing base that balances a soft-focus matte finish with skin-loving hydration. Ideal for all skin types, this foundation offers buildable medium-to-full coverage that blurs imperfections without looking cakey or dry. While it provides excellent longevity and a skin-like feel, users should note that it does not contain built-in sun protection, so a separate SPF application is recommended for daytime wear.

Yes, the formula is dermatologist-tested and non-comedogenic, making it generally safe for various skin types, including sensitive skin.
No, it is formulated with color-true pigments designed to remain fade-resistant and consistent for up to 10 hours.
While you can use your fingers, a brush or sponge is recommended to achieve the most even, airbrushed, and 'traceless' finish.
With 40 shades available, it is recommended to test your shade in natural light by swatching along your jawline to find the best match for your skin tone and undertone.
It offers buildable medium-to-full coverage, allowing you to layer the product in areas that require more concealment.
Ensure your skin is fully prepped and hydrated before application. Using a damp blending sponge often helps to smooth out streaks better than a brush.
The formula contains Hyaluronic Acid, but if your skin type is very dry, ensure you are using a rich moisturizer underneath. Avoid using an overabundance of setting powder.
If the pump is new, it may take several full presses to prime the tube and draw the product up. If it still fails, ensure there is no dried foundation blocking the tip.
To ensure the best application, start with a clean, moisturized face. While the formula is hydrating, those with exceptionally dry skin may still prefer a light hydrating primer underneath. Dispense one to two pumps of the foundation onto the back of your hand, as the formula is highly pigmented and a little goes a long way. Use a synthetic foundation brush or a makeup sponge to distribute the product evenly. To maintain the integrity of the formula, keep the pump bottle stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Always ensure the cap is replaced after use to prevent the cream from drying out at the nozzle.
