Troubleshooting
Pedal mechanism is stiff or unresponsive
Ensure there are no obstructions around the pedal or the base of the bin. Check that the inner bucket is correctly seated and not preventing movement.
Lid does not close softly
Verify that the bin is on a level surface. Check if the lid or the closing mechanism has any debris or is misaligned. Ensure the inner bucket is not overfilled, preventing the lid from closing properly.
Bin liner slips down
Ensure the bin liner is pulled taut over the rim of the inner bucket. Use the bag holder integrated into the inner bucket to secure the liner in place. Avoid overfilling the bin.
Exterior shows marks despite being fingerprint-resistant
Clean the exterior with a damp, soft cloth and mild detergent if necessary. Ensure you are not using abrasive cleaning materials which could damage the finish.
