Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure all surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or oil.
- For best results, roughen non-porous surfaces slightly with sandpaper.
- Apply an even coat of the adhesive to *both* surfaces using a brush or spreader.
- Allow the adhesive to dry until it is tacky to the touch (typically 10-20 minutes, depending on conditions).
- Carefully align the two surfaces and press them together firmly. Apply pressure evenly across the entire bonded area.
- Allow the bond to cure fully, typically for at least 24 hours, before subjecting it to stress or moisture.
Compatibility:
This adhesive is suitable for use on wood, laminates, metal trims, plastics, fabrics, rubber, and for general surface bonding tasks in indoor environments.
Care:
- Store tins in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Keep tins tightly sealed when not in use to prevent drying out.
- Clean up any excess uncured adhesive immediately with a suitable solvent (check product instructions or manufacturer's website for recommendations). Cured adhesive may be difficult to remove.
- Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying.
