Product Information

Full details

The ICY BOX 3.5/2.5 SATA/SAS in 1x5.25 Storage bay adapter in black supports all 3.5"/2.5" SATA/SAS 1.5/3.0/6.0 Gbit/s HDDs (1" high) in a 2.25" bay. It fits in a standard 5.25" bay and features a key lock to prevent improper operation. The HDD installation is faster as the HDD does not need to be screwed to a tray. A 5.25" bay is needed on the PC. SATA HDDs are supported (SATA I/II/III). This mobile rack is made almost completely from aluminum, which is stable, light, and dissipates heat perfectly, eliminating the need for a fan. A 12V fan can be installed if desired, but it is not included. The built-in lock protects your HDD and data from unauthorized access. An LED indicator provides information regarding HDD access and activity.
