The Gaahleri Kaleido Colorworks KM010 Scorched Gold is a professional-grade acrylic paint designed specifically for airbrush enthusiasts and scale modelers who require a premium metallic finish. Its optimized viscosity ensures smooth flow through fine-bore nozzles, making it ideal for adding realistic detail to complex artistic projects, though users should ensure proper surface preparation to maximize the metallic sheen and overall adhesion.

The paint is formulated to be airbrush-ready; however, you may thin it further depending on your specific airbrush nozzle size and personal preference.
While it can be applied with a brush for small touch-ups, it is specifically optimized for airbrushing and may not provide the desired coverage or leveling with a brush.
A high-quality acrylic hobby primer is recommended to ensure the best adhesion and to provide a smooth base for the metallic finish.
Keep the bottle tightly capped in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Yes, it is a high-quality acrylic formulation which generally cleans up with water or acrylic airbrush cleaner.
Ensure the needle is clean and verify that the paint has been properly shaken. If clogging persists, add a small amount of acrylic-compatible thinner.
Increase the distance between the airbrush and the model, or lower your air pressure to allow the paint to wet the surface more evenly.
Shake the bottle vigorously before every use to ensure the metallic pigments are fully suspended. Always ensure your surface is primed and free of oils or dust, as metallic paints can highlight surface imperfections. Compatibility with various airbrush brands is high, but it is recommended to test on a scrap piece of plastic first. Clean your airbrush immediately after finishing with an appropriate acrylic thinner or cleaner to prevent dried paint from clogging the internal needle components.
