FAQs

Can I remove the back cushions for cleaning?

The Ashton features a full-back design where the cushions are integrated for support, meaning they are not intended to be removed.

What are the exact dimensions?

The sofa measures 307cm in total length with 164cm depth on the protruding sides.

Is the fabric suitable for pet owners?

Chenille is durable, but like many woven fabrics, it can snag if pets with sharp claws are left unattended; regular maintenance is recommended.

Does it come fully assembled?

No, it is delivered in three separate parts to make home access easier; assembly is required by connecting the sections.

How do I clean a stain on the chenille fabric?

Use a clean, damp cloth to gently blot the area. Do not use harsh chemical cleaners, as these may damage the texture of the chenille.

Troubleshooting

Sofa sections drifting apart

Check the underside of the sofa to ensure the metal locking brackets are fully engaged and tightened.

Visible dust or debris in fabric

Use a soft-bristle brush or vacuum cleaner upholstery attachment to gently lift particles from the chenille pile.

Sofa feels unstable

Verify that all plastic feet are correctly attached and that the floor surface is level.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Spacious seating for up to six people
Ergonomic full-back design supports posture
Modular sections make delivery into homes easier
Comfortable and soft chenille fabric finish
Large U-shaped configuration ideal for central room placement

Cons

Large footprint requires a dedicated spacious room
Chenille fabric may require specific cleaning methods compared to leather
Fixed back cushions limit the ability to rotate or fluff them independently

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: The sofa is delivered in three separate sections. Upon arrival, ensure you clear the designated space. You will need to align the connecting brackets between the modules to lock them firmly in place.

Compatibility: This unit is best suited for medium-to-large living rooms. Always measure your floor space considering the 307cm length and 164cm depth to ensure walking paths remain clear.

Care: To maintain the chenille fabric, vacuum the upholstery regularly using an upholstery attachment to prevent dust buildup. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth rather than rubbing. Avoid placing the sofa in direct, prolonged sunlight to prevent fading of the grey finish.
