The Bosmere Lawn Fertiliser Spreader (LFS1) is an essential tool for homeowners and allotment enthusiasts looking to achieve a professional-looking, healthy lawn through precise nutrient application. Its primary benefit is the ability to distribute fertiliser evenly, which encourages thicker, greener grass and improves resistance to drought and environmental stress. While highly effective for small to medium-sized areas, the 5kg capacity means users with very large estates may need to refill the hopper multiple times during a single session.

The hopper can hold up to 5kg of fertiliser.
It is ideal for use during the growing season, specifically from April to September.
Yes, it is suitable for distributing granular fertiliser and grass seed.
The unit features 5 adjustable settings; select the one that corresponds to your application needs.
Empty all remaining contents, wipe it out with a dry cloth, and store it in a dry environment.
Check if the hopper is clogged by damp granules and ensure the flow setting is not set to the closed position.
Verify that you are maintaining a consistent walking speed and a steady side-to-side rotating motion throughout the application.
This spreader requires no complex assembly; simply ensure the hopper lid is secure before use. It is compatible with most standard granular lawn fertilisers and grass seed. After each use, it is critical to empty any remaining granules from the hopper. Wipe the interior and the spreader mechanism with a dry cloth to prevent moisture build-up, which can lead to clogging or rust. Store in a cool, dry place to maintain the integrity of the plastic and mechanical components.
