The Canon E-77 II lens cap protects the front element of your Canon EF lens from dust, scratches, and other damage.
This lens cap is compatible with Canon EF lenses that have a 77mm filter thread, such as the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM.
Align the cap with the lens, pinch the sides, and insert it into the lens. Release the sides to secure the cap.
Clean the lens cap with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
It is recommended to replace the lens cap to protect your lens. Without it, your lens is more susceptible to damage.
The lens cap is not specifically water-resistant, but it can help protect the lens from moisture. However, it's not a substitute for proper weather sealing.
No, the Canon E-77 II lens cap does not come with a retention strap.
Ensure you are using the correct size lens cap (77mm) for your lens. Check the cap for any damage or obstructions.
