Is the material safe for children?

Troubleshooting
The clip spring feels loose or fails to close properly
Check for debris or lint caught in the hinge; use a small brush to clear the mechanism and ensure it moves freely.
The plush surface has accumulated lint or dust
Use a standard lint roller or a soft-bristled brush to gently remove surface particles without pulling at the plush fibers.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To attach your Care Bear, simply squeeze the spring-loaded clip and hook it through a secure loop on your target bag or accessory. Ensure the attachment point is made of fabric or a ring that can support the weight of the plush toy without tearing. To maintain the appearance of the plush, it is recommended to surface clean only using a mild detergent and a damp cloth; avoid submerging the item in a washing machine, as this may damage the internal structure or the finish of the clip. Allow the toy to air dry completely away from direct heat sources to preserve the softness of the polyester fibers.
