Full details

The GL.iNet GL-MT3000 (Beryl AX) is a powerful and versatile portable Wi-Fi 6 router designed for both home and travel use. It offers dual-band Wi-Fi 6 speeds of up to 574 Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and 2402 Mbps on the 5GHz band, delivering a combined speed of up to 3000 Mbps. This compact router is equipped with a 2.5G Multi-gigabit WAN port and a 1G gigabit LAN port for high-speed wired connections, along with a USB 3.0 port for added functionality. It comes with pre-installed OpenVPN and WireGuard clients, supporting over 30 VPN service providers for enhanced security and privacy. With a maximum VPN speed of 150 Mbps for OpenVPN and 300 Mbps for WireGuard, you can ensure your online activities are encrypted. The router runs on open-source OpenWrt 21.02 firmware, allowing for extensive customization through over 5,000 plug-ins accessible via a no-code interface. Security features include WPA3 protocol for protection against brute-force attacks, DNS over HTTPS & DNS over TLS for secure DNS traffic, and IPv6 support for privacy. The Beryl AX also supports VPN cascading, allowing you to simultaneously host a VPN server and client for remote network access and secure internet browsing. The 'Block Non-VPN Traffic' feature ensures all internet traffic goes through the VPN. You can also define flexible VPN policies to route specific traffic through the VPN while bypassing others. The repeater mode extends existing Wi-Fi coverage, though it does not support EAP Wi-Fi networks. A physical toggle switch can be configured to easily enable/disable features like AdGuard Home, OpenVPN Client, or WireGuard Client.
