The Closetmaid 4-tier ladder shelving unit is an ideal storage solution for apartment dwellers, students, or office workers who need to maximize floor space without sacrificing style. This contemporary bookshelf offers four graduating tiers that provide a structured way to display books, decorative items, and media. While its vertical footprint is highly efficient for smaller rooms, users should note that as an open-back ladder unit, it is best suited for placement against a wall rather than as a room divider.

While the unit is versatile, it is primarily designed for dry environments. Avoid placing it in areas with high humidity or direct water exposure.
While specific weight limits vary by load distribution, it is recommended to place heavier items on the bottom shelf and lighter objects on the upper tiers.
The ladder design relies on the wall for support. For maximum safety, always position it flush against a wall.
We recommend keeping the original finish; modifying the material may void the warranty and compromise the integrity of the surface.
The bottom shelf is the deepest of the four tiers, providing the most support for larger items compared to the top shelf.
Ensure all shelf screws are fully tightened and verify that the unit is sitting on a flat, even floor surface.
Wipe down with a slightly damp microfiber cloth, followed immediately by a dry cloth to prevent water spots.
Since it is an open-back shelf, ensure items are pushed toward the front or middle of the shelf to maintain balance against the wall.
Assembly is straightforward and typically requires only a screwdriver. Ensure you have a clear floor space to lay out the side frames and shelves before beginning.
