Setup, Compatibility & Care
To fill your mill, unscrew the top knob and remove the wooden head. Fill the reservoir with dry rock salt crystals that are less than 6mm in diameter; ensure the salt is completely dry, as moisture can lead to clogging and corrosion of the mechanism. To adjust your grind, rotate the ring at the base of the mill to one of the six marked positions. For care, wipe the mill down with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove any kitchen residue. Avoid submerging the mill in water, as this can warp the wood and damage the internal mechanism. Do not use this mill with wet sea salt, as the moisture will cause the salt to clump and potentially damage the steel grinding teeth.
