Can I put the mattress core in the washing machine?

No, only the removable zipped cover is machine washable. The core should be kept dry.

Does this mattress fit all standard cots?

This model is sized for 140cm x 70cm cot beds. Please check your specific cot's dimensions before purchasing.

Troubleshooting

The cover is difficult to put back on after washing.

This is common for new textile products; leave the mattress in a well-ventilated room for 24-48 hours before first use.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Promotes healthy airflow for safer sleep
Waterproof design protects against spills
Hypoallergenic surface keeps allergens at bay
Simple machine-washable maintenance
Firm, supportive structure for infants

Cons

Specific 140cm x 70cm sizing requires correct cot compatibility
Hand-washing or delicate machine cycles recommended for longevity
Limited to standard rectangular cot bed frames

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up, ensure your cot or cot bed is compatible with the 140cm x 70cm dimensions. Place the mattress firmly against the base of the cot, ensuring there is no gap greater than 2cm between the mattress and the sides of the cot to adhere to safety guidelines.

For ongoing care, we recommend rotating the mattress every few weeks to prevent uneven wear. When the cover becomes soiled, unzip it carefully and wash on a gentle cycle. Always ensure the cover is completely dry before placing it back onto the core to prevent the trapping of moisture inside the mattress.
