The Bosch Standard for Metal Cutting Disc is an essential tool for metalworkers and DIY enthusiasts who require a reliable, cost-effective solution for everyday metal cutting tasks. Designed for use with standard angle grinders, it provides a consistent cutting performance through various metal types using a high-quality aluminium oxide grain. While it offers excellent value for general-purpose projects, it is optimized for standard ferrous metals rather than heavy-duty industrial alloys or precision stainless steel fabrication.

Ensure the disc is properly centered on the spindle and the locking nut is tightened securely.
You may be applying too much pressure or cutting a material that is too hard. Reduce pressure and allow the tool speed to do the work.
Discard the disc immediately. Do not attempt to use a damaged or cracked cutting disc.
Ensure your angle grinder is unplugged or the battery is removed before installation. Place the disc onto the spindle, ensuring it is seated correctly, and secure it using the standard locking nut provided with your grinder. Do not overtighten the nut, as this can crack the disc.
For care, store discs in a cool, dry place. Exposure to high humidity can weaken the bonding agent over time, leading to premature disintegration during operation. Always perform a quick visual inspection for cracks or chips before mounting any disc.
