FAQs
Can this tablecloth be reused?
This product is designed as a disposable item. While it can be wiped clean for the duration of one event, it is not intended for long-term reuse.
Will this cover a round table?
This tablecloth is specifically designed for rectangular tables measuring up to 274cm in length. It may bunch up awkwardly on a round table.
Is the material heat resistant?
No, it is made of plastic and should not come into direct contact with extremely hot pans or dishes.
Is the gold color opaque?
Yes, the plastic is designed to provide good coverage, though we recommend using a base layer if your table has a very dark or patterned surface that you wish to hide completely.
How many table covers come in one pack?
Each pack contains one individual table cover.
Troubleshooting
Tablecloth sliding on smooth surface
Use adhesive table clips or a small piece of painter's tape on the underside edges to secure it to the table.
Deep wrinkles upon unfolding
Gently smooth the surface by hand; because it is plastic, creases usually relax once the cloth is laid flat and stretched over the table edges.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Protects tables effectively from permanent stains
- Simplifies cleanup significantly after events
- Large dimensions fit a variety of rectangular table sizes
- Elegant aesthetic suitable for formal parties
Cons
- Not machine washable or reusable
- May be susceptible to tearing if sharp objects are dragged across
- Cannot be used as a heat mat for hot serving dishes
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup is straightforward: simply unfold the cover and drape it over your rectangular table. Due to its lightweight material, consider using adhesive tape or plastic tablecloth clips if you are hosting outdoors to prevent it from blowing away. This product is compatible with most standard household, banquet, and picnic tables. For care, keep in mind this is a disposable item. While it can be wiped down gently with a damp cloth if a minor spill occurs during the event, it is not designed for heavy cleaning or multiple uses. To ensure the best presentation, unfold the cover slowly to avoid deep creases in the plastic.
