Full details
The KAWA Dash Cam 2K is an ideal choice for everyday drivers seeking high-definition road security without a bulky setup. It provides the key benefit of crisp 1440P QHD recording and convenient hands-free voice control, making it easier to capture evidence during incidents. A primary caveat is that continuous parking monitoring may require a dedicated hardwire kit to avoid draining the vehicle battery during extended stationary periods.

FAQs

Can I rotate the camera to record the interior?
Yes, the 360° rotatable mount allows you to easily turn the lens toward the cabin if required.
Is the camera battery-powered?
The camera operates via the vehicle's power supply; it includes a small internal capacitor to save current files safely during sudden power loss.

Can I view recordings on my computer?
Yes, you can remove the MicroSD card and use a card reader to transfer files directly to your PC or Mac.
Troubleshooting
Camera is not connecting to the mobile app
Ensure your smartphone's WiFi is enabled, the dashcam's WiFi is turned on, and that you are within 5 feet of the device during the pairing process.
The camera stops recording after a short period
Check if the 'Loop Recording' feature is active and verify that the SD card is not full or corrupted. Re-format the card using the app settings.
Parking mode is not activating
Ensure the camera is connected to a constant power source via a hardwire kit; standard 12V cigarette lighter sockets typically lose power when the engine is off.

Compatibility: The device is compatible with most standard MicroSD cards (Class 10 or higher recommended).
Care: Periodically wipe the lens with a soft, microfiber cloth to keep the image sharp. Avoid using glass cleaners directly on the lens. Regularly format your SD card every 30-60 days through the KAWA app to prevent file fragmentation and ensure consistent recording stability.
