The Trakker Sanctuary Compact Crib V2 is designed for anglers who prioritize high-level fish care and safety during weighing and photography sessions. It offers exceptional protection through its stiffened walls and thick foam base, making it an ideal choice for dedicated carp anglers. A minor caveat is that its structured design occupies more space when assembled than traditional flat unhooking mats, though it remains highly portable for its class.

The assembled dimensions are 105cm x 56cm x 20cm, and it packs down to 94cm x 24cm x 24cm.
Yes, the 50mm foam base is removable, allowing you to clean it separately or wash the mat lining more effectively.
The roll-top carry bag is designed for convenient and scent-free storage, effectively containing moisture after you have wiped the mat down.
Yes, a cover is included to help calm the fish and protect it from bright conditions during your session.
The crib weighs approximately 2.35kg, making it lightweight enough for mobile angling.
Yes, the internal surfaces are made of fish-friendly, easy-clean PVC that is designed to be gentle on scales.
Ensure the drainage holes are clear of debris or obstructions; verify that the foam base is properly aligned so it does not block the mesh venting.
Clean the internal PVC with a mild, fish-safe soap and rinse thoroughly. Ensure the mat is completely dry before sealing it in the roll-top bag.
Inspect the wall inserts for any structural damage and ensure they are fully pushed into their respective sleeves within the fabric.
Setup is straightforward: remove the crib from the roll-top bag, unfold the base, and ensure the stiffened walls are upright. The removable foam base should be pressed flat into the bottom to ensure full coverage.
For care, always rinse the internal PVC surface with fresh water after each session to remove slime and debris. Because the internal lining is quick-drying, hang the crib in a shaded, well-ventilated area to air dry completely before packing it into the roll-top bag. This practice is essential for preventing the buildup of unpleasant odors during storage.
