Setup, Compatibility & Care
Proper preparation is the most critical step for success. Begin by cleaning the surface to remove all dust, grease, and loose debris. For smooth or glossy surfaces, use fine-grit sandpaper to lightly abrade the material; this creates a 'tooth' for the paint to grip. If you are painting plastic, it is highly recommended to apply a dedicated plastic primer first to ensure long-term adhesion. Always perform a test spray on a scrap piece of material or a hidden area of your project to ensure compatibility and color satisfaction. Store the can in a cool, dry place and invert it to spray briefly after use to clear the nozzle and prevent clogging.
