The ATEK RJ45 RJ11 Crimping Tool is a versatile, all-in-one solution designed for IT professionals and DIY home network installers who need a reliable way to manage Ethernet and telephone cabling. Its primary strength lies in its ability to strip, cut, and crimp a wide variety of cable types including CAT5, CAT6, and CAT7 with professional-grade precision. While it offers robust construction and high utility, users should note that the tool is strictly manual, requiring a firm grip and steady hand for consistent connector seating.

Yes, this tool is designed to support CAT7 cabling, though shielding requires extra care when stripping to avoid cutting internal ground wires.
Yes, the tool is compatible with both RJ45 (Ethernet) and RJ11 (Telephone) connectors.
Absolutely, the intuitive design makes it excellent for beginners, provided you follow proper wiring color-code standards.
Keep it clean of wire clippings and dust; periodic light lubrication of the hinge will keep the mechanism functioning smoothly.
Yes, the tool crimps the physical connector; the wiring scheme is determined by how you arrange the wires before inserting them into the plug.
Ensure the cable is pushed all the way into the connector before inserting it into the tool, and apply firm, steady pressure to the handles.
Check the blade sharpness; if dull, avoid forcing the tool and instead rotate the cable slightly while applying pressure to complete the cut.
Apply a small amount of household lubricant to the hinge point and work the handles back and forth several times.
To begin using the tool, ensure your cable jacket is stripped to the proper length—usually about 1 inch—to allow for wire arrangement. Before crimping, double-check that your wire order follows the T568A or T568B standard for consistent connectivity. Keep the tool clean from debris and copper shavings to prevent jamming in the crimping die. Periodically applying a light machine oil to the pivot point will ensure the handles move smoothly, and storing the tool in a dry, room-temperature environment will prevent rust on the steel components.
