The Peugeot LED Spotlight (12 SMD 5730) is designed for homeowners and DIY enthusiasts looking to upgrade their indoor or landscape lighting to an energy-efficient, long-lasting solution. Featuring a standard GU4 MR11 base, this bulb provides bright, consistent illumination for accent lighting; however, users should ensure their current fixtures are compatible with 12V DC power requirements before installation.

No. This bulb requires a 12V DC power supply. Attempting to connect it to standard household voltage will cause immediate damage.
MR11 stands for 'Multifaceted Reflector' with a diameter of 11/8 of an inch, designating the specific shape and size of the bulb housing.
While LEDs remain much cooler than halogen bulbs, they still generate some heat at the base. Ensure the fixture has adequate ventilation.
This specific model is designed for standard on/off operation. Using a dimmer switch may cause damage or flickering.
The 5730 SMD chips are known for high brightness and better heat dissipation compared to smaller, older LED types.
Ensure your existing transformer is compatible with LED loads; old halogen transformers often lack the minimum load required for LEDs.
Verify that the input voltage is indeed 12V DC and check that the pins are fully seated in the GU4 socket.
Before installing, ensure your light fixture is powered off. Verify that your fixture provides a 12V DC output, as using these bulbs on an incompatible voltage will cause failure. To install, align the GU4 pins with the socket slots and push gently until the bulb clicks or sits flush. Avoid touching the LED surface with bare fingers to prevent oil buildup, which can affect heat dissipation. Keep the bulb away from moisture unless the fixture itself is rated for outdoor/damp conditions.
