A 2mm thin soundproofing mat designed to block and reduce airborne noise. It is equal to lead of the same mass in effectiveness and acts as a thin MLV Soundproofing Mat. One roll covers an area of 3.75sqm. Suitable for use in stud walls, timber joist floors and timber joist ceilings. Highly effective noise barrier, effective at reducing airborne noise in timber walls, floors & ceilings. Sustainable: Manufactured from pre and post industrial waste sources. 100% recyclable at end of life. Glue the Soundproofing Mats directly to an existing stud before adding more acoustic plasterboard. For best results, it should be sandwiched between two layers of high-density Acoustic Plasterboard.
