The Makita HP488DAE 18V Li-ion G-Series Cordless Combi Drill is a powerful and versatile tool designed for drilling into wood, plastic, metal, and light masonry. It features a compact design with two mechanical gears, 16 torque settings, and hammer action with variable speed control for precise operation. The drill includes forward and reverse rotation and an electric brake for controlled screw driving. Its all-metal gear construction ensures durability, while the ergonomically designed rubberized soft grip provides excellent control and comfort during use. The single sleeve keyless chuck allows for easy bit installation and removal. This model is an updated version of the previous HP457DWE kit. The G-Series battery is identifiable by its white or grey top section and offers a 2.0 Ah capacity in the 18V version, with a 60-minute charge time via the G-Series DC18WA battery charger. Please note that the G-Series battery is only compatible with Makita G-Series cordless power tools and not with the Makita LXT cordless range. The package includes 2 x BL1820G 18V 2.0Ah batteries, a DC18WA Battery Charger, and a carry case.
