Setup, Compatibility & Care
Preparation is key for optimal performance:
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and any existing mould. Treat any existing mould with a suitable mould cleaner before painting.
- Repair any cracks or imperfections with a suitable filler.
- Apply one coat of a suitable primer if necessary, especially on porous surfaces.
- Stir the paint thoroughly before application.
- Apply two coats of Smartseal Anti-Condensation Paint using a brush or roller. Allow adequate drying time between coats as per the manufacturer's instructions.
Compatibility:
This paint is designed for interior walls and ceilings. It is compatible with most standard interior surfaces after proper preparation.
Care:
To maintain the finish, clean gently with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the paint surface. If mould does reappear (which is unlikely if condensation is managed), treat the spot with a mild detergent and water solution.
