FAQs
Are these filters glass or plastic?
These filters are constructed from high-quality, tempered Schott optical glass.
Do I need a specific holder for this kit?
Yes, this kit is designed for the Cokin X-Pro series filter holder system.
Can I stack these filters?
The X-Pro holder allows for multiple slots, so you can stack filters, though stacking multiple ND filters can lead to vignetting on ultra-wide lenses.
How do I clean the nano-metallic coating?
Clean gently with a soft microfiber cloth. Avoid using abrasive paper products or chemical solvents that are not intended for camera optics.
Are these filters scratch-resistant?
While they are four times stronger than previous models and highly durable, they should still be treated as precision optical equipment and handled with care.
Troubleshooting
Visible color cast in long exposures
Ensure the filter is seated properly in the holder and the lens has no secondary filters attached that could cause light leakage.
Difficulty sliding filter into the holder
Check the filter holder slots for debris or dust and ensure the filter is perfectly aligned before sliding.
Reflections appearing in images
Ensure the filter is pushed fully into the holder slot and consider using a black cloth to cover the gap between the lens and filter if shooting long exposures in bright light.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
This kit is designed exclusively for the Cokin X-Pro series filter holder. To set up, ensure your lens has the correct adapter ring attached to the X-Pro holder. Simply slide the desired filter into the front slots of the holder.
Care instructions include:
- Always store filters in a protective case when not in use.
- Use a microfiber cloth specifically designed for optics to clean fingerprints or dust.
- If water spots occur, use a gentle lens cleaning solution and wipe in a circular motion.
- Ensure no grit is trapped in the filter holder slots to avoid scratching the glass during insertion.
