The Zelah Oak Narrow Bookcase is designed for those seeking to add rustic charm and practical storage to smaller living spaces or studies. Its primary benefit is providing ample display space across five shelves within a compact footprint. A minor caveat is that the top panel may show some exposed framework, as it's designed to be less visible. This bookcase is handmade from high-quality, sustainably sourced American White Oak with a warm honey oak finish, featuring rounded edges and a carefully distressed look to enhance its natural wood grain.

Due to the handmade nature and the process of distressing the wood, each piece will have unique characteristics, meaning the finish may vary slightly from unit to unit.
While not explicitly stated in the provided information, it is always recommended to secure tall furniture items to a wall for safety, especially in homes with children or pets. Wall-fixing hardware may or may not be included and should be appropriate for your wall type.
Ensure the floor surface is level. Small adjustments to the placement might resolve wobbling. Check if any shelf is not fully seated.
Dust the surface thoroughly. Consider applying a light coat of furniture wax specifically formulated for oak furniture, following product instructions.
This is an intentional design feature as the top is not typically the primary display surface. It is part of the handmade aesthetic.
Avoid harsh cleaning agents. For minor scuffs, a very fine-grit sandpaper can be used with extreme caution, followed by a wax polish. For significant damage, consult a furniture restoration specialist.
Setup: This bookcase is delivered fully assembled, requiring no additional setup beyond placing it in your desired location.
Compatibility: Suitable for use in any indoor living space, including living rooms, studies, bedrooms, and hallways. Its rustic style pairs well with traditional and country-themed decor.
Care: To maintain the waxed finish and natural beauty of the oak, dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For spills or more stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth and wipe dry immediately. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the wood and its finish. Periodically, a light re-application of furniture wax specifically designed for oak may help preserve its luster.
