Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Measure the area where the trim will be applied.
- Cut the Adhesive Flat Bar to the desired length using a fine-tooth saw or utility knife.
- Ensure the surface where the trim will be applied is clean, dry, and free from dust or grease.
- Apply a suitable grab adhesive to the back of the trim or directly to the wall surface according to the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
- Press the trim firmly into place, ensuring a flush fit.
- For added security, especially on heavier applications or uneven surfaces, use screws at regular intervals (pre-drilling may be necessary).
- Wipe away any excess adhesive immediately.
- Allow adhesive to cure fully before subjecting the area to heavy use.
Compatibility:
This trim is designed for use on a variety of internal and external wall surfaces including plaster, painted walls, wallpaper, and tiled areas. It is compatible with most standard grab adhesives and screws. Its translucence means it can complement most modern doors, windows, and decor.
Care:
Clean the surface regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Mild, non-abrasive household cleaners can be used if necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning pads that could damage the finish.
