Troubleshooting

Colors appear dull on the lid

Apply a high-quality eyeshadow primer before application to boost pigment vibrancy and adherence.

Excessive fallout during application

Tap off excess product from your brush before touching the eyelid, or apply eye makeup before face makeup.

Difficulty blending shadows

Ensure the eyelid is set with a translucent powder or a neutral matte shade before applying darker colors.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Versatile range of finishes suitable for day and night looks
High color payoff requiring less product
Portable and compact design with integrated mirror
Smooth texture facilitates easy blending for beginners

Cons

May require eye primer for long-lasting wear on oily skin
Limited shade variety for those seeking purely neon or pressed glitter finishes
Packaging is lightweight plastic, requiring careful storage

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the best performance from your J.Cat palette, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Before application, ensure your eyelids are prepped with a base or concealer to create a uniform canvas. For best results, use synthetic blending brushes for matte shades and a flat shader brush or your fingertips for metallic shimmer shades to ensure maximum pigment transfer. To clean the palette, gently wipe the powder residue from the pan edges using a dry microfiber cloth to keep the mirror and casing clear.
