The LavaTap Wireless Thermostat (model THD22120) is designed for homeowners seeking a modern, wireless boiler control system. Its key benefit is a straightforward, hassle-free upgrade for existing central heating systems, especially those using the Standard UK Backplate, often requiring no new wiring. A potential consideration is that while it replaces many Drayton models, verification of your existing backplate compatibility is recommended for a seamless installation.

While it's designed for easy upgrade onto existing Standard UK Backplates with no new wiring, professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with boiler wiring or if your existing setup differs.
It is suitable for combi boiler systems and traditional gas setups. Always confirm compatibility with your specific boiler model if unsure.
Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on programming the heating schedule via the thermostat's interface. Typically, this involves navigating through menu options to set desired temperatures for different time periods.

Setup: This wireless thermostat kit includes a battery-powered thermostat and a 230V mains-powered receiver. Installation is designed to be straightforward, especially when replacing compatible Drayton models using the existing Standard UK Backplate. Ensure the receiver is correctly wired to the 230V mains and your boiler system according to the included instructions. The thermostat and receiver pair automatically using an RF connection.
Compatibility: The THD22120 is specifically designed as a direct replacement for the Drayton LP Range (including LP111, LP241, LP522) and replaces Digistat +3RF (Supersedes +1RF/+2RF). It is suitable for combi boiler systems and traditional gas setups.
Care: To maintain optimal performance, periodically dust the thermostat and receiver with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the thermostat's batteries are replaced when indicated to maintain a stable RF connection.
