Dolby Atmos is an advanced surround sound technology that creates a three-dimensional audio experience by adding height channels, allowing sounds to be precisely placed around and above the listener.
This typically involves going into your TV's audio settings and selecting 'Bitstream' or 'Passthrough' for the audio output format. The exact steps vary by TV manufacturer. Ensure your TV is connected to the soundbar via HDMI ARC/eARC or Optical.
Yes, you can connect your computer to the soundbar via Bluetooth or using an AUX cable. If your computer has an HDMI or Optical audio output, you can use those connections as well.
X-Upmix Technology is designed to convert stereo or other non-surround audio sources into a richer, multi-channel surround sound experience, enhancing immersion from any content.
No, the ULTIMEA Poseidon D80 does not support Wi-Fi connectivity. Audio streaming is available via Bluetooth and wired connections.
HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) allows audio to travel from the TV back to the soundbar. HDMI eARC is an enhanced version that supports higher bandwidth, enabling the transmission of uncompressed audio formats like Dolby Atmos.
The Poseidon D80 features 8 drivers in total, including those within the main soundbar unit and the active subwoofer, to create the 7.1 channel surround sound effect.
Check that the soundbar is powered on and the correct input source is selected on both the soundbar and the TV. Ensure all cables are securely connected. Verify volume levels are not muted or set too low.
Confirm that your TV's audio output is set to Bitstream or Passthrough and that the content you are playing is Dolby Atmos encoded. Ensure you are using an HDMI cable connected to an ARC/eARC port or an optical cable.
Ensure the soundbar is in pairing mode. Turn off Bluetooth on your connected device, then turn it back on and try re-pairing. Move the device closer to the soundbar and ensure there are no major obstructions.
Check the subwoofer's power connection. Ensure the subwoofer is not placed too far from walls, which can sometimes dampen bass. Adjust the bass level using the remote control or equalizer settings if available.
Replace the batteries in the remote control. Ensure there is a clear line of sight between the remote and the soundbar's IR receiver. Remove any obstructions.
