Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before installation, verify that the AUX 1 dimensions match your vehicle's auxiliary battery tray, as auxiliary compartments are often significantly tighter than primary battery spaces. Ensure the terminal orientation matches your vehicle's wiring harness layout to prevent cable strain. During installation, always tighten the terminals to the manufacturer's torque specifications to prevent intermittent electrical contact. To maximize service life, perform a routine inspection of the terminal connections for oxidation or looseness every time you perform an oil change. If the vehicle will be stored for an extended period, utilize a smart battery maintainer to prevent deep discharge, which can degrade the internal capacity of the battery.
