No, these blades are designed specifically for metal cutting and HSS construction is optimized for ferrous materials.
18tpi stands for 18 teeth per inch, indicating the tooth density of the blade.
Yes, these are designed to be compatible with most leading brands of pneumatic air saws.
Each pack contains 15 individual blades.
While they can cut stainless steel, it is a harder material that will wear the blade faster than mild steel.
Dispose of blades in a designated sharp waste container to prevent injury.
Ensure the blade retention screw is fully tightened and the blade is inserted to the correct depth specified by your tool manual.
Check that the workpiece is securely clamped and reduce the amount of forward pressure applied to the saw.
Reduce cutting speed if possible and ensure you are not overheating the blade by forcing the cut through thick materials.
To install, ensure your air saw is disconnected from the air supply to prevent accidental activation. Loosen the blade retention screw on the saw nose, insert the SA345/B1815 blade, and tighten the screw securely until the blade is firmly held.
Compatibility: This blade is optimized for Sealey pneumatic saws but will fit most standard air saw models requiring this blade geometry.
Care: To extend blade life, keep the cut line clear of heavy debris and avoid using the blade for tasks outside of thin metal applications. Store in a dry, low-humidity environment to prevent surface corrosion of the HSS material.
