Is this battery compatible with all V-mount plates?
It is compatible with all standard V-mount systems, though its unique square shape may require more clearance than thin-style batteries.
What is the maximum wattage the PB-S98S can handle?
The battery supports a maximum power output of 150W.
How do I know when the battery is fully charged?
Use the integrated LED indicators on the battery or check the status display on your compatible Swit charger.

Troubleshooting
Battery will not lock onto the mount
Check for debris in the V-mount mechanism and ensure the square profile is not hitting obstacles on the camera housing.
Camera shuts down during high-draw operation
Ensure the total power draw of your camera and accessories does not exceed the 150W limit.
Battery not recognized by the charger
Clean the power contacts with a dry, lint-free cloth and verify the charging station supports V-mount specifications.

- High 150W power output for demanding cinema setups
- Airline-friendly 98Wh capacity
- Reliable high-current 12A output
Cons
- Square shape may not fit all standard battery plates

- Requires specific V-mount hardware
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To begin using the PB-S98S, simply align the V-mount notch with your camera's battery plate and slide it until you hear a secure click. Compatibility is standard across all V-mount systems, but users should verify that their camera plate does not have protruding pins that might interfere with the square housing. For care, keep the contact pins clean and free of debris. Always store the battery in a cool, dry place and avoid fully depleting the cells if you intend to store the unit for long periods. Periodically cycle the battery by fully charging and discharging it to maintain cell health.
