Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup: Assembly typically involves installing the handlebars, seatpost, pedals, and wheels. For optimal performance, it is recommended to have the bike professionally tuned by a qualified mechanic, especially regarding the SRAM AXS electronic drivetrain.
Compatibility:
- Wheels: Compatible with 700c wheels.
- Tires: Maximum tire clearance is 50 mm, allowing for a wide range of gravel and even some mountain bike tires.
- Drivetrain: Features SRAM AXS components, which are generally cross-compatible within the SRAM AXS ecosystem.
- Accessories: Standard braze-on mounts are present for racks, fenders, and additional bottle cages.
Care and Maintenance:
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the frame and drivetrain with mild soap and water. Avoid high-pressure washers directly on bearings or electronic components. Use a soft cloth for drying.
- Drivetrain: Keep the chain lubricated and check for wear. Clean and inspect the derailleur and cassette periodically. Ensure SRAM AXS batteries are charged.
- Storage: Utilize the internal frame storage for tools and spares. Periodically check that the storage compartment is securely closed.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect tires for wear and damage, check brake pads, and ensure all bolts are properly torqued.
