The TYMO Ring Plus Ionic Hair Straightener Comb is designed for individuals seeking professional-quality hair straightening at home, offering a quick and efficient styling solution. Its key benefit is the combination of a comb and straightener with ionic technology and even heat distribution, reducing frizz and adding shine. A potential caveat is the learning curve for achieving optimal results across different hair types.

No, this straightener comb is designed for use on dry hair only. Using it on wet hair can cause damage.
The TYMO Ring Plus offers 9 temperature settings, typically ranging from around 120°C (250°F) to 200°C (400°F), but check the specific product manual for exact figures.
Generally, finer or treated hair requires lower temperatures (120-160°C), while thicker or coarser hair may need higher temperatures (160-200°C). It's recommended to start with a lower setting and increase as needed.
The product information does not specify a heat-resistant mat. It is recommended to use a heat-resistant surface for placing the device while in use or cooling down.
The TYMO Ring Plus heats up quickly, typically within 30-60 seconds, to reach its set temperature.
Nano titanium coatings are designed for durability and even heat distribution. Proper care and avoiding harsh cleaning will help maintain its integrity.
Ensure the device is properly plugged in and switched on. Check if the correct temperature setting is selected. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
Increase the temperature setting gradually. Ensure you are using slow, even strokes through small sections of hair. Verify that the hair is completely dry before use.
Lower the temperature setting, as it may be too high for your hair type. Ensure the ionic technology is functioning by observing any subtle hum or static reduction. Use a heat protectant spray before styling.
Unplug the device and plug it back in to reset. If the display remains blank, contact customer support for assistance.
Setup: Ensure the device is plugged into a compatible power outlet. Select the appropriate temperature setting for your hair type using the LED display and buttons. Wait for the device to reach the desired temperature (indicated on the display).
Compatibility: This device features dual voltage (110-240V), making it compatible with most international power outlets. An adapter may be required depending on the plug shape.
Care: Always unplug the device and allow it to cool completely before cleaning or storing. Wipe the comb with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or immersing the device in water. Store in a cool, dry place.
