FAQs

Who is the TaylorMade Qi4D Tour Fairway Wood designed for?

This fairway wood is engineered for confident ball strikers, particularly accomplished players who demand precision, workability, and explosive distance and prefer to fine-tune their equipment.

How does the adjustability work?

It features three Trajectory Adjustment System weights (one 15g and two 4g) and a 4° loft sleeve. These allow you to adjust mass for shot shape and spin, and change loft, lie, and face angle to optimize launch conditions.

What is the benefit of the low and forward CG?

A substantial 60g tungsten mass pad positions the center of gravity extremely low and forward. This maximizes ball speed and promotes the flat, powerful flight profile preferred by better players.

Does the Twist Face technology affect workability?

No, Twist Face technology introduces corrective face curvature to help reduce side spin on off-center strikes, promoting straighter results without sacrificing workability or distance.

What kind of shaft is included with this club?

The Qi4D Tour is equipped with the REAX shaft platform, manufactured using Mitsubishi Chemical's materials, providing stable feel and consistent performance.

What are the available lofts for the Qi4D Tour Fairway Wood?

The available lofts are 3-wood (15°), 5-wood (18°), and 7-wood (21°).

Can beginners use this club?

While possible, this club is primarily designed for skilled players. Beginners might find the adjustability complex and may benefit more from a fairway wood with a simpler design.

Troubleshooting

Clubhead feels loose.

Ensure all adjustable weights and the loft sleeve screws are securely tightened using the appropriate tool.

Inconsistent ball flight.

Experiment with the Trajectory Adjustment System weights and loft sleeve settings to find optimal performance for your swing. Consult a professional club fitter if needed.

Reduced distance.

Check the clubface for dirt or debris. Ensure the club is being struck in the center of the face. Verify loft and CG settings are appropriate for your swing.

Unusual sound at impact.

The Qi4D Tour is designed for a solid, powerful sound. If the sound is distorted, check for any damage to the clubhead or face.
