Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Determine the appropriate location and material for installation.
- Select a drill bit slightly smaller than the shank diameter for pre-drilling a pilot hole.
- Drill a pilot hole of sufficient depth (at least the thread length).
- Carefully screw the eye bolt into the pilot hole by hand or using a wrench on the shank, ensuring it is fully seated and secure.
Compatibility:
These eye bolts are designed to be screwed into solid materials such as wood, timber, or masonry (with appropriate anchors, not included). Ensure the mounting surface can safely support the intended load.
Care:
Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth as needed. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could damage the zinc coating. Periodically check the tightness and integrity of the installed eye bolts, especially if used in demanding applications or exposed to harsh environments.
