Full details
The stunning wolf head door knocker by Castelion is beautifully cast in solid brass, hand polished and left unlacquered to gain a patina over time. This unusual animal head door knocker symbolises protection, but welcomes visitors rather than keeping them from your door. The striker is the ring in the wolf’s mouth which strikes against his mane. The wolf door knocker is fixed with 2 bolts and nuts that go right through the door. Fixings are included. Dimensions: 160mm high overall x 120mm wide x 80mm projection. Distance between the fixing points centre to centre 108mm (4 1/4"). Striking ring 70mm diameter. Boxed weight 1.3kg. Suitable for doors up to 6cm thick. Made in the UK using traditional Victorian sand casting methods.
