Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Preparation: Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and flat. Fill any holes or imperfections.
- Measurements: Measure the wall and plan the panel layout, accounting for cuts and waste.
- Cutting: Use a saw to cut the panels to the required size, ensuring clean cuts.
- Adhesive: Apply construction adhesive to the back of each panel.
- Installation: Align and press the panels onto the wall, using a level to ensure straightness.
- Securing: Use finishing nails or a brad nailer to secure the panels in place.
- Finishing: Fill nail holes, sand any rough edges, and apply paint or sealant.
Compatibility
The panels are compatible with most standard construction adhesives and finishing products. Ensure the adhesive is suitable for MDF and that any paint or sealant is moisture-resistant if used in a bathroom or kitchen.
Care
- Clean the panels regularly with a damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Inspect the sealant periodically and reapply as needed to maintain moisture resistance.
- Protect the panels from direct and prolonged exposure to water to prevent damage.
