Troubleshooting

Umbrella fails to open automatically.

Ensure the umbrella is fully closed. Check if the shaft is properly locked. If the mechanism feels stuck, do not force it; inspect for obstructions.

Canopy inverts during strong winds.

The vented design should minimize this. If it inverts, carefully close the umbrella and reopen it. Ensure the vents are not blocked.

Ribs or shaft appear bent or damaged.

Gently try to straighten minor bends. If structural damage is significant, the umbrella may need to be replaced.

Handle grip feels loose.

Inspect the grip for damage. If it is detached, it may require adhesive to resecure. Ensure the mechanism inside the handle is functioning correctly.
