Setup, Compatibility & Care
Proper installation is vital for the longevity of your porcelain paving. Unlike natural stone, these slabs should be laid on a full, solid bed of mortar or an appropriate adhesive system to ensure there are no voids underneath that could lead to cracking under pressure.
Cutting: Due to the extreme hardness of the porcelain, you must use a wet-cut saw with a high-quality diamond blade designed specifically for porcelain to avoid chipping the edges.
Grouting: Use a high-performance external grout designed for porcelain. Ensure the joints are filled completely to protect the edges.
Care: Maintenance is straightforward. Periodic sweeping and occasional washing with a garden hose and soft detergent will keep the surface looking brand new. Avoid harsh acidic cleaners that could damage the surrounding grout.
